It’s time to get instruction from someone who has been there.
These days it’s hard to navigate your way through the sea of business, marketing, and coaching information. Everywhere you look there is a new method that ‘in just three easy steps’ will take your business to the next level.
The truth is those three easy steps do not exist. If it really only took three easy steps to take your business to the next level then everyone (and I mean everyone) would be doing it.
Having a successful business requires that you take the right actions over and over again for a period of time.
I have something that will help you in that regard.
It will show up in your mailbox (as in your real mailbox, not your inbox) and it will teach you how to take the most useful and productive actions consistently over time to help you enjoy the success you want.
But before we get into that, I know you have a question…
Why Should You Listen To Me?
That is a really good question. How do you know that I am not just one more person on the internet who claims to be a “guru” and an “expert”? (I hate those titles sooooo much!)
I could go into a long history about my experience of how I have been self-employed since 1997. Instead I have three facts I would like to offer to illustrate where I am coming from:
- I have sold over 2 million dollars in services as a juggler (yes, a juggler) which has led to performances in 49 states and 5 Canadian provinces.
- I can draw straight line between a simple content creation process which I repeat weekly to more than $250k in sales in my private practice.
- I have made over $100k in marketing mistakes. (I know, that is an odd thing to brag about, but I think it’s important.)
In short, I have tried the tactics I teach again and again in non-traditional markets.
Think about it, if these tactics can be used to sell juggling performances imagine how powerful they are in selling something people actually want!
Also, in terms of the third point, I think it is important that you know that I am not perfect. I have made lots of costly marketing and bad business mistakes, but what is more important is that I have learned from my mistakes.
Simply put, I have made the mistakes so you don’t have to!
What I teach isn’t untested theoretical content. These are practical techniques that are laid out step by step with real world examples.
Yes, I know you have more questions….
Why Is It A Paper Newsletter That Comes In The Mail?
I have given this a lot of thought. It would be so easy for me simply to make a pdf of the white paper and just email it to you, especially considering I am paying the first class postage to mail it to you no matter where you are in the world.
Here are the reasons I have chosen a paper newsletter:
-
In the last few years a number of studies have shown that when we read things on paper instead of on a screen we remember more of the information AND we have a higher level of comprehension.
In other words, we learn more reading something on paper.
-
Recent studies have also shown that reading something on paper is more immersive and we are less likely to get distracted. There are no pop-up ads, status notifications, or dings letting us know we have a new email message when we are reading something on paper.
By reading the white paper on paper you will get more out of it because you will be fully engaged.
-
It is easier to go back to a paper version again and again. I subscribe to a number of paper newsletters that I keep on my bookshelf. Seeing them there reminds me of the useful information they contain so I refer to them often.
-
It will keep you accountable. Each month when the white paper arrives in the mail it may feel like a bit of surprise. But it will be a pleasant surprise. Not only because it will be filled with great information that you can use right away, but it will also serve as a reminder that you need to be taking action all the time to grow and maintain the health of your business.
How many emails do you receive that you just ignore? That won’t happen when the information comes via regular mail.
- It is fun to get mail! I know that seems like a trivial point, but the more we move to a digital world the less we receive physical mail. I love physical mail. Everytime I open my mailbox and find something that is not a bill or an ad I feel better. It is a small thing, but not insignificant.
And I know you have this question…
Why Is It Called A White Paper?
I know the title How I Built My Practice White Paper seems like an odd name (lots of people have asked me about this).
But I chose to call it a white paper because of what a white paper is. Here is the definition of a white paper taken Wikipedia, which I think explains the idea perfectly:
A white paper is an authoritative report or guide informing in a concise manner about a complex issue and presenting the issuing body’s philosophy on the matter. It is meant to help readers understand an issue, solve a problem, or make a decision.
I love this because it is exactly what my white paper is about: “informing in a concise manner” and “understand an issue, solve a problem, or make a decision”.
The How I Built My Practice White Paper is all about giving you the information you need to understand and solve your marketing problems in order to take action!
Every Month You Will Receive Help In 3 Ways – I Couldn’t Make It Easier For You If I Tried
Every issue of the How I Built My Practice White Paper contains three types of information that you will be able to use immediately.
First, more than half of each issue will share actions you can take straight away to market your services better, make more sales, and create better products. These are all actions that will directly impact your bottom line.
I know I have already said this a number of times, but it bears repeating. Everything I teach will have real world examples and steps that you can take right now.
Second, every month I will share one way that you can work more productively and effectively. These are techniques that will impact your bottom line indirectly, but impact it nonetheless.
When you are able to do things in an easier, more systematic way you will save time to focus on other parts of your business or to get out of the office earlier to enjoy other parts of your life.
It is not by accident that I only offer one of these techniques a month. The biggest mistake people make when trying to be more productive is trying to change everything at once.
Giving you only one new thing at a time will make it easy to incorporate in your workflow. By the time the next white paper shows up in your mailbox you will have made the previous tool a habit and you will be ready to add another.
Third, every month there is a section called “I Read It So You Don’t Have To!” There is an endless stream of business and marketing books being published. It is difficult to know what deserves your time and attention so I solve that problem for you.
Each month I will provide a summary (my version of CliffsNotes!) of a useful business or marketing book. Not only will I summarize the most helpful parts of the book but I will also share how I implement the ideas in my business.
You will get the benefit of reading the book without spending the time AND if you want to go deeper you know that when you pick up the book it won’t be a waste of time.
And That’s Not All!
In addition to the amazing content every month I have 2 bonuses for you.
How I Communicate – The White Paper
Early on in my own business I realized that the most important skill for growing it was the ability to communicate. Communication is more than just the words we write or say. We need to make sure our words are heard and read. If not, what we say is irrelevant.
In this white paper I give you the blueprint in step-by-step detail to how I plan and execute all my communication. This includes how I set up my website and email newsletters, I explain how I approach every new social media platform (like Twitter and Facebook), and share what I do to get my content read again and again.
20-Minute Copywriting Consultation
You and I will jump on the phone or Skype and walk you through one piece of copy that you have written. I will help you with structure, content, and clean up the language so it is as juicy as possible. Your copy can be for a sales letter, a landing page, a launch announcement, or anything you want.
Unannounced Bonuses
In addition to those bonuses there will also be surprise bonuses such as interviews with some of the brightest minds in business, extra instruction, audio recordings, and free products.
I want you to be successful and this a great way to give you and your business an extra push.
You Need To Be Serious
The How I Built My Practice White Costs $49 a month.
Yes! $49 a month for a paper newsletter is expensive, but there are few reasons for that.
First, I only want you to join if you are serious about growing your business and taking it to the next level. $49 a month is a big enough cost that it will keep away the folks who are just going through the motions.
If you are going to use the information then $49 is a small price because you are going to get way more value from each issue.
Second, when something is expensive we take it more seriously. I know this from my own experience. My hard drive is filled free trainings that contain potentially transformational information that I will never read or hear. The same is not true for programs I have paid for, which use and reuse.
By making a financial investment in this you are really making a commitment to yourself that you are not going to waste your hard-earned cash, but do something with the information.
ALSO, one final note. There are no refunds. I don’t offer refunds because I want your decision to do this to be a thoughtful one.
If you are ready to invest in yourself and your business then let’s do this!
[Note for readers outside the US: The price is the same for all international readers and I will cover the cost of postage no matter where you are in the world.]
I agree to the Terms and Conditions and I have read the cancellation policy. I understand the How I Built My Practice White Paper is $49 per month, and that I will be billed once upon subscribing, and then once every 30 days afterwards unless I cancel. I also understand there are no refunds on subscriptions, but that I can cancel any time via the email, phone number or address at the bottom of this page.
